I really am blown away by all this craziness with COVID-19. The whole thing is like we are living in a bad 80s movie, especially when you watch the news. We are doing as we've been told, both working from home and I haven't even been to the grocery in a week. Seems strange as I usually go at least 3 times a week. Today is the last day for salads for lunch. Now the decision needs to be made; do we go out and try to find some produce or dig in to the freezer? I have a friend whose husband works at Kroger and says they still haven't been able to stock the shelves because the warehouses are empty. Who would have thunk this in the USA? (Don't hate me for my grammer! 😄)
All-in-all, we are well and should not complain. Heck, we've even started taking afternoon walks around the block, which ends up to be about 3.5 miles! I think this will change how everyone communicates in the future and maybe it's not a bad thing. More time with family and loved ones. I know I've spent more time on the phone with both my mom and dad.
Social distancing...I don't like that phrase. Granted, I bet we'll all be more conscious of keeping our distance physically. But with technology today, we can still socialize, just differently. For those of us that struggle with this, it will force us to learn about facetime calls, zoom, gotomeeting and other technologies out there that help us connect with others. Is that a bad thing? I don't think so. Learning is never a bad thing. Will it be painful? Probably! I have yet to try to teach my 83 year old mother to facetime. 😂 Should be a good time!
Speaking of learning, this has given me a lot more time to study on my YL products. Y'all know I love my Thieves stuff! And have been cleaning my house top to bottom with Thieves Household Cleaner. My Thieves Hand Sanitizer is in my car and my hubby's. Along with the Thieves wipes to use after pumping gas.
