In the beginning of my Young Living journey, I had been through a great deal of trauma and had been in a state of constant depression. Many days I was finding myself giving thanks over and over for my son who was a light of joy in my life!  He was three years old when I became a single mom. God had sent me a gift to help me grow and give him life. I never knew such joy as having a child. 

Of course with that came responsibility and searching my own life for my values and aligning them with my choices! The years had been a difficult challenge through relationships torn apart.

With that however we grow, expand and express according to who we believe ourselves to be.

The image we hold of ourselves defines our life. And so when my passionate journey of learning began with Young Living, I was introduced to Valor and Joy. I was told "use Valor on your feet every morning, 3-4 drops, left hand to left foot, right hand to right foot" . These were the words of D. Gary Young. He taught that women start on the left side and men on the right.

Hearing truth throughout the company I began to listen Learn and DO!

Within a week my moods and attitudes had shifted! Somehow I felt a sense of FLOW. The valor had somehow shifted the energy blockage along the spinal column. I had also learned that trauma and grief cause blockage in different areas of the body depending on the experience emotionally. That is why different organs and areas of the body experience the dis-ease at some point it all defines itself physically.

Joy was applied over my heart. Gary knew we women had broken hearts. He too had had a broken heart, he faced many criticisms, judgements and destructive character comments.

Joy was to be used to heal and uplift the heart energy!

So it was in 2002 I lifted myself up and onto a new life and lifestyle for myself and my son!

Every day I applied the valor to my feet after my morning shower in preparation for a day at my state department position. Joy I applied over my heart. and when you smell this oil you will realize why it is called a LOVE perfume!
